KPC lowest bidder for Tanjung Jati B coal supply tender

State electricity firm PLN said on Monday that East Kalimantan coal miner PT.Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) was the lowest bidder for Tanjung Jati B medium CV coal supply tender.
PLN?s Logistic Head Pudji Widodo told Petromindo.Com that KPC offered lowest price from the seven bidders participated in the tender. He did not give further detail.
Other bidders in the tender included PT. Indominco Mandiri, PT.Anugerah Bara Kaltim and PT.Jembayan Muara Bara.
Winner of the tender will supply 1 million tonnes of coal per year under five-year contract with first shipment expected May or June this year, a Tanjung Jati B official said in February.
Tanjung Jati B operates 2x660-MW power plant in Central Java. (godang)
