KPC, others donate Rp542 million for E. Kalimantan's national park

Several mining companies operating in East Kalimantan Province have pledged to provide funds worth Rp542 million (1$=Rp8,550)this year to help finance preservation program of the province's Kutai National Park.
Coal mining giant PT Kaltim Prima Coal(KPC) promised to contribute some Rp 275 million, the company said on Friday.
It added that KPC's manager for public affairs Drajat Pandjawi and Director General of Forrest Protection and Environment Preservation Sri Kusparhad signed a document on the donation last week. (Godang)
