KPC receives environmental award from E. Kalimantan

PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) and two other coal producers have recently received Golden Certificate award from the East Kalimantan provincial administration for their outstanding achievements in environmental protection, Bisnis Indonesia daily reported Friday.
The two other companies were PT Indominco Mandiri and PT BHP Kendilo Coal Indonesia.
KPC, one of Indonesia?s top coal producers, had previously received the same award three times.
Meanwhile, three coal producers operating in East Kalimantan were awarded by the provincial government the Green Certificate (PT Gunung Bayan Pratama Coal, PT Berau Coal, PT Kideco jaya Agung) and six companies for Blue Certificate (PT Baradinamika Muda Sukses, PT Lanna Harita Indonesia, PT Anugrah Bara Kaltim, PT Bukit Baiduri Enterprise, PT Kitadin, PT Tanito Harum).
