KPC receives ISO 14001 certificate

East Kalimantan coalminer PT. Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) on Thursday received ISO 14001 on environmental management from auditor PT.SGS Indonesia.
The ISO certificate was the first integrated environmental management system for the whole mining process ever awarded to Indonesian mining.
KPC, a unit of JSX-listed Bumi Resources, is set to produce 23 million tons of coal this year. (alex)
