KPC's coal output to reach 4.5 million tons in Q1 2003

East Kalimantan-based coal miner PT Kaltim Prima Coal said Tuesday its coal production was estimated to reach around 4.5 million tons during the first quarter of this year.
Company president Noke Kiroyan said the company operation was running as usual.
The company produced 4.38 million tons of coal in the fourth quarter last year.
KPC operates a huge coalmine in Sangatta, East Kutai regency. It is equally own by world mining and energy giants Rio Tinto and BP Plc. (alex)
