KPC?s exploration drilling under progress

Coal miner PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC), the subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources Tbk will carryout drilling works at seven sites. They have already done the exploration activity at 96 other places until October 2005, the Koran tempo newspaper reported in its Thursday edition.

According to Bumi Resources company secretary Geroad Jusuf said the total cost of the explorations have reached until September US$428,100, much lower than the allocated money of $482,500

He said the digging was done in order to decide the oxidation ?s area with all the details, the level of burnt zone, washout area, coal quality and other matters in the mine.(*)
