KPC to produce 32.86 million tons of coal this year

The government has recently approved a plan and budget submitted by PT Kaltim Prima Coal to produce around 32.86 million tons of coal this year, a government source told Petromindo.Com Monday.
Under the plan, KPC would produce around 11.8 million tons of Prima coal, 7.7 million tons of Pinang coal, and around 9.21 million tons of Melawan coal, the source said
The source added that KPC would also produce around 4 million tons of coal from Bengalon site. Production from this site is scheduled to commence in May.
KPC produced 22 million tons of coal last year. (godang)
