KPC to purchase 150 units of dump truck

Coal miner Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) will purchase additional 150 units of DH dump truck which has hauling capacity of 80 tons per unit.
A source at the company told Petromindo.com that the purchasing of the trucks will run parallel with the completion of overland conveyor belt (OCB) project in Sangatta which has total length of about 13 kilometers.
With the completion, the company will have 26 kilometers of OCB facility stretching from from Sangatta to Tanjung Bara, East Kalimatan. The new OCB is expected to be in operation by the end of this year
The company expects to double its target of coal production from 35 million tons to 73 million tons. .
