KPC to try meeting China's demand for quality coal

PT Kaltim Prima Coal would supply coal to China if its quality was up to the standard required by that country, its new president director Noke Kiroyan said on Friday.

Noke made the remark in connection with China Prime Minister Zhu Rong Zi?s visit to Indonesia on Nov. 8. The possibility of China buying coal and liquefied natural gas from Indonesia will be discussed during his visit.

It would be interesting that China import coal from Indonesia considering the fact that so far China had been known as a coal producer, Noke said. (godang)
