KPK again questions MEMR Secretary General

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) questioned again Waryono Karno, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) on Monday over the graft case involving Rudi Rubiandini, the suspended chairman of upstream authority SKK Migas, local media reported Monday.
?I came here to be questioned over the RR (Rudi Rubiandini) case,? he said upon arrival at the KPK office.
He had been questioned by the KPK investigators twice, first on Oct. 24, 2013 and secondly on Nov. 4, 2013. KPK has named him a witness in the graft case and slapped him with a travel ban. Aside from Waryano, KPK has also slapped travel ban on I Gusti Putu Ade Pranjaya, an assistant of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
The KPK investigators discovered cash amounting to US$200,000 inside Waryono?s office several days after the arrest of Rudi. Rudi was caught redhanded accepting bribes amounting to US$400,000 from Singaporean oil trader Kernel Oil on Aug. 14, 2013. (*)
