KPK confiscates $200,000 from ministry

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confiscated funds amounting to US$200,000 from the office of Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Wayono Karno, one day after the arrest of Rudi Rubiandini, now-suspended chairman of SKK Migas, according to Detik.com..
Johan Budi, spokesman of KPK, said the anti-corruption agency also confiscated several documents which are considered useful for the investigation of the bribery case involving Rudi.
?We believe there are the footprints of the suspect there,? Johan said, referring to Rudi.
Rudi has been declared suspect on charges of receiving bribes amounting to $700,000 from oil trader Kernel Oil.
Meanwhile, when asked about his possible involvement in the bribery case, Wayono said: ?I swear to God. I am not involved.?
