KPK imposes travel ban on SKK Migas? officials

KPK has asked the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to prevent the four from traveling overseas over a period of six months starting from Aug. 14, 2013, KPK?s spokesperson Johan Budi was quoted by Tempo as saying.
?The travel bans aim to ensure that each of them are available anytime we summon them for questioning,? Johan said on Thursday.
The three SKK Migas officials are respectively identified as Iwan Ratman, Head of Operational Support Division, Popi Ahmad Nafis, Head of Gas Commerce at Commerce Control Unit, Agoes Sapto Rahardjo, Head of Oil and Condensate Commerce at Commerce Control Unit. The executive of Parna Raya is identified as Artha Meris Simbolon, a director of the firm. Parna Raya is a local energy firm involved among others in gas trading.
Rudi was arrested by KPK on Wednesday on charges of accepting bribes amounting to US$700,000.
