The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has summoned two senior officials of upstream authority SKK Migas for questioning over corruption case involving former Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Waryono Karno.

The two officials are Gerhard M. Rumeser and Hardiono, both expert staff.

?The two are being questioned as witnesses to the WK (Waryono Karno) case,? KPK spokesman Priharsa Nugraha was quoted as saying on Wednesday by the local media.

Gerhard refused to talk to the media when he arrived at KPK?s headquarters on Wednesday. Previously, Gerhard was also questioned as witness in the bribery case involving suspended Chairman of SKK Migas Rudi Rubiandini. The trial of Rudi has started.

In the dossier of Rudi, KPK said Gerhard handed US$150,000 to Rudi in June last year, which Rudi later transferred to Waryono.

Waryono has been named a suspect by KPK. (*)
