KPK summons Pertamina?s official over Madura bribery case

Tri was summoned as a witness to Antonio Bambang Djatmiko, President Director of PT Media Karya Sentosa (MKS), who was recently arrested by KPK on charges of giving bribes to Fuad Amin Imron, the speaker of Bangkalan?s council, KPK?s spokesperson Priharsa Nugraha was quoted by the news agency as saying.
KPK will also summon Haposan Napitpulu, former president director of PT Pertamina EP Cepu; Kardaya Warnika, former chairman of now-defunct BPMIGAS; Samiudin, President Director of PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali; Andiani Rinsia, Finance Manager of PT Pembagkitan Jawa Bali; and Budi Indianto, former marketing division head of BPMIGAS.
Haposan is now a staff expert at SKK Migas, while Kardaya is now the head of the Commission VII of the House of Representatives which oversees among others energy affairs.
Antonio was arrrested along with Fuad, who served as Bangkalan?s regent for ten years from 2003 through 2013.
According to KPK, in 2007 Fuad as regent signed an agreement between the regency?s owned firm PD Sumber Daya and MKS to form a partnership to distribute gas. The partnership was later awarded a contract to distribute gas from the West Madura Offshore (WMO) to the Gresik power plant in East Java?s mainland and in Gili Timur, Bangkalan. The operator of the block is PHE WMO, a subsidiary of state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, by the Sumber Daya-MKS joint venture will get the gas through PEP.
Under the contract, the Sumber Daya-MKS joint venture is reponsible for the development of pipeline to channel the gas. But, according to KPK, the joint venture has yet until now to build the pipeline. (*)
