Krakatau Daya develops power grid in Banten

Power plant company PT Krakatau Daya Listrik (KDL) is developing an electricity grid (20 KV, 2x25 MVA) in Banten to allow it to distribute electricity to steel maker PT Krakatau Nippon Steel Sumikin (KNSS).
KDL, a subsidiary of IDX-listed steel giant PT Krakatau Steel Tbk, said in a recent statement that the Rp 31.5 billion project is expected to start operation in September of 2016.
Under an agreement signed with KNSS, KDL will transmit power from its substation to power receiving building of KNSS.
