Krakatau Daya opens tender for coal fired boiler project

COAL FIRED BOILER 2 X 350 TON STEAM/HR
FOR CFSPP 2X80 MW PROJECT
PT KRAKATAU DAYA LISTRIK
1. PT Krakatau Daya Listrik (?KDL?), a subsidiary of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero), Tbk. having registered office at Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon, Banten Province, plans to develop Coal Fired Boiler 2 x350 ton steam/hr for CFSPP 2x80 MW.
2. Inline with the plan, KDL intends to process an International Competitive Bidding to contractor for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (?EPC?) works for the Plant (the?Project?).
3. The Scope of work is building Coal Fired Boiler 2 x 350 ton steam/hour which is producing steam for existing steam turbine generator plant 2 x 80 MW. The Project will be located at Jalan Amerika I in Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon, Banten Province, Indonesia, which is approximately 90 km west of Jakarta.
4. Those who are interested in, participating in the pre-qualification for the Project may obtain pre-qualification document (the ?PQ Document?) between 09.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. (Western Indonesia Standard Time) during a period starting on 23 September 2015 until 30 September 2015, upon the submission of a written request to the address below for the attention of Chairman of the PJPPE Committee.
5. Applications for pre-qualification must be submitted to and received at the address below not later than 04.00 p.m. (Western Indonesia Standard Time) on 9 October2015.
6. Applicant for pre-qualification will be advised, in due course, of the results of evaluations on its application. Only applicants that have passed pre-qualification will be invited to bid.
7. The participant of this PQ may bea single company or a Consortium which has experience and built coal fired steam power plant for the last 5 (five) years.
