KrisEnergy completes acquisition of 2D seismic data

SGX-listed upstream oil and gas company KrisEnergy Ltd announced Thursday that the Nordic Bahari seismic vessel completed the acquisition of 1,284 km 2D seismic data in the East Muriah PSC in East Java.

The company commenced the acquisition of 1,300 km seismic data in the East Muriah PSC on February 6 of this year.

The acquisition program was prior to the drilling of an appraisal well in the East Lengo discovery and to confirm additional gas prospects in the block.

The East Muriah PSC forms part of the company?s East Java core area, which includes the adjacent Bulu and Sakti PSCs.

KrisEnergy holds a 50 percent operated working interest in the East Muriah PSC and is partnered by AWE Limited, which holds the remaining 50 percent.
