KrisEnergy expects gas production from discoveries to start in 2015-16

South East Asia-focused E&P firm KrisEnergy Limited expects two of its Indonesian blocks to start producing gas in 2015 and 2016 and plans to drill exploration wells in two other blocks.
The company envisages that gas production from Tayum discovery in Kutai PSC, East Kalimantan will start late 2015. Gas development concept will be 3 wells with individual support structures and pipeline to existing facility 15 km away.
Tayum - 1 exploration well, which was drilled earlier this year encountered gas, volumetric analysis underway, the company said in a presentation filed with the Singapore Stock Exchange Friday. The company said in July 2013 that it was evaluating the results together with the data from two earlier gas discoveries, Dambus and Mangkok.
KrisEnergy holds a 54.6 percent operating working interest in the Kutai PSC and is partnered by Salamander Energy with 23.4 percent and Orchid Kutai Ltd. with 22 percent.
The company also said that gas production from Lengo discovery within Bulu PSC offshore East Java is targeted to start in the second half of 2016 with gas export to shore via 65-km pipeline. The Lengo - 2 appraisal well was drilled in the first half of 2013 with gas flow rate of from two tests. KrisEnergy has a 42.5 percent non-operating interest in the block.
The company did not give detail about the volume of gas that will be produced from the field.
KrisEnegy also disclosed that it will conduct 948km 2D seismic in East Seruway PSC offshore North Sumatra this year with one exploration well planned in 2014 and one well at Udan Emas PSC onshore Papua in 2016. KrisEnergy has 100 percent interest in both blocks.
