KrisEnergy invites bidders for 2D, 3D surveys at Udan Emas, Tanjung Aru PSCs

SGX-listed firm KrisEnergy Ltd invited on Thursday contractors to participate in pre-qualification tender process to carry out 300 km 2D seismic survey at the company?s Udan Emas PSC, onshore West Papua.
Interested company must submit request letter to participate in the pre-qualification tender process and collect pre-qualification form on Friday, KrisEnergy said.
KrisEnergy was awarded a 100 percent working interest and operatorship of the Udan Emas PSC, which covers 5,400 sq km in the neck of the Bird?s Head area onshore West Papua. The exploration block lies over the Bintuni Basin, a proven prolific gas province containing the Tangguh gas field and associated liquefied natural gas facilities.
The company is also inviting contractors to participate in a pre-qualification tender process to carry out a 500 square km 3D marine seismic survey at the Tanjung Aru block, Makassar Strait.
The Tanjung Aru Production Sharing Contract was awared in 2011 to a Joint Venture consortium comprised of the following companies: Neon Energy Ltd (42%), KrisEnergy Ltd (Operator) (43%), Natuna Ventures Pte Ltd (15%)
The Tanjung Aru block covers some 4,200km2 of the Kutei Basin, offshore eastern Kalimantan, in water depths ranging from 20 metres to over 1,000 metres. The Kutei Basin is one of Indonesia?s most prolific hydrocarbon provinces, with discovered hydrocarbon resources in excess of 12 Billion barrels of oil equivalent.
