KrisEnergy opens PQ tender for Lengo gas project

SGX-listed KrisEnergy announced Tuesday qualification process to participate in a tender to select engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contractor to develop production facilities at the Lengo Gas project located in the Bulu production sharing contract, East Java.

Interested companies are invited to participate in the qualification process for tender of the following service:

Registration Requirements:
1. Interested company must submit a Request Letter to Participate in Qualification signed by its authorized director (stating address and contact details) to KrisEnergys Bid Committee and collect the Qualification Form at the address stated above from the announcement date until the latest on Friday, 8th January 2016, between 10.00 WIB -15.00 WIB.
2. A fully completed Qualification Form and document must be submitted to KrisEnergy at the latest on Thursday, 21st January 2015 between 09.00 WIB -15.00 WIB
3. The minimum Local Content required: Forty Five Percent (45%)
4. This Invitation to qualify for the tender process is not an Invitation to tender. KrisEnergy is neither committed nor obligated to undertake or complete this Qualification process or the work described or to issue any call for tender or to include any respondent to this Invitation or other company on any tender lists, or to award any form(s) of contract. The Invitation to tender and full tendering information will be sent only to companies that have been qualified. KrisEnergy will not make any form of payment for submissions presented in response to this invitation.

ASX-listed AWE Ltd and KrisEnergy each holds a 42.5 percent interest in the Bulu PSC. Another 10 percent is held by PT Satria Energindo, and the remaining 5 percentby PT Satria Wijayakusuma.

The Lengo gas accumulation is located in the Bulu PSC, which covers 697 sq. km over the East Java Basin in water depths of 50 to 60 meters. The development plan was approved by the Indonesian authorities in late 2014 and comprises four development wells, an unmanned wellhead platform and a 20-inch, 65-km export pipeline to transport the gas to onshore.

KrisEnergy said in a presentation material in November that the Lengo production will commence 24 months after the final investment decision is declared. It added that production is expected to plateau at 70 mmscfd.
