Komisioning Service Indonesia (KSI), a subsidiary of a Singaporean company, will soon begin exploration activities at its oil concession area in Bengkulu, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Monday.
Aminuddin N.S, the chief of the mining office of the Bengkulu provincial administration, said last week that KSI, one of the winners of the 14 oil and blocks auctioned off by the government recently, was conducting a feasibility study on its 6,000-km concession area.
"We hope the company will soon begin its exploration activities," he said, adding that the company's concession area covers 6,000 km areas in the province's regencies of Kaur, and Rejang Lebong. (*)
