KSO PEP-Indrillco awards 3D seismic contract to GSI-Sucofindo

KSO Pertamina EP-PT Indrillco Hulu Energy Ltd. has awarded a 3D seismic survey contract worth US$2.5 million to the consortium of seismic surveyor PT Gelombang Seismik Indonesia (GSI) and state-owned surveyor and consultancy company PT Sucofindo (Persero).
?We will commence acquisition of 56 km2 3D seismic data in Musi Rawas regency, South Sumatera province. The work will take 3 months to complete,? GSI?s Operation Director Barita Sihombing told Petromindo.com.
He added that GSI was founded in 2009. Its first project is a 2D seismic work for Indrillco conducted in March 2010.
Indrillco operates the Uno Dos Rayu (UDR) block under a joint operation agreement with Pertamina EP. The agreement was signed on December 2007 for a period of up to 20 years.
