KSO PT Pertamina EP- PT Teckwin Benakat Timur plans to soon drill the BKT#C and BKT#I at the Pendopo field, in Talang Ubi District, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency, South Sumatra.

The BKT#C well is estimated to produce 130 bpd, while BKT#I 170 bpd of oil, said General Manager of PT Teckwin Benakat Timur, Arief Admadi, during a recent public campaign of the planned drilling program.

?Despite the weak low oil price, we remain committed to continue find new energy resources and support the government program in national energy security,? said Arief.

?Drilling will be carried out in the near future,? he said, adding that the drilling program is targeted to be completed in 30 days.

Pendopo field oil production currently stands at 500 bpd, which will increase to 800 bpd once the two wells start production.
