Kuntoro named PLN?s chief commissioner

Minister of State Enterprises Rini Soemarno has appointed Kuntoro Mangkusubroto and Jarman new commissioners for public utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), Antara news agency reported on Tuesday.

Kuntoro replaced Chandra Hamzah as chief commissioner, while Jarman replaced Milton Pakpahan as commissioner. Kuntoro served as PLN?s president director from 2000-2001, while Jarman is now Director General of Electricity at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Deputy Minister of State Enterprises for Energy, Logistics, Zones and Tourism Edwin HIdayat said the selection of the two names had been approved by the Final Assessment Team (TPA) chaired by President Joko Widodo. (*)
