Kupfec may use Kalrez? rig to complete Seram drilling

Australian oil explorer Kalrez Energy Limited said on Wednesday that Kuwait?s oil firm Kufpec would inspect Kalrez? rig 482 in early January 2002 with the view to utilizing it for the completion of Oseil wells in April 2002.
Kalrez is currently using rig 482 for its Bula production sharing contract (PSC) well development programs.
Kupfec (Indonesia) Limited is the operator of the Seram (Non Bula) PSC onshore Seram Island, whose Oseil oilfield is currently being developed and is forecast to come on stream at 12,000 to 18,000 barrels per day in July 2002.
Kalrez Energy Limited is a joint venture partner with Kufpec through a 2.5 percent interest in the Seram (Non Bula) PSC. (alex)
