Each unit of the power plant uses 153.4 tons of coal per hour or about 3,681 tons a day (1.3 million tons of coal per annum). The coal is supplied by PT Titan Mining Energy (285,000 tons per year), a consortium of PT Arutmin Indonesia and PT Darma Henwa (95,000 tons per year), a consortium of PT Kasih Industri Indonesia and PT Senamas Energindo Mulia (950,000 tons per year) and Baramutiara Prima (570,000 tons per year).
