Lanna to increase 2010 coal production

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Lanna Harita Indonesia (LHI) said it would increase 2010 production from its mines to 1.7 million tones (MT) from 1.5MT planned for this year.
A company official told that the mine?s 2010 production is already 60 percent contracted and is still looking for offtakers for the remaining volume.
The official said Lanna has started selling coal to domestic users as part of its domestic market obligation. ?We have started selling spot barges to cement maker Holcim,? the official said.
LHI is a unit of Thai firm Lanna Resources Public Ltd. (denny)
