Lanna upbeat to meet 2012 target

PT Lanna Harita Indonesia (LHI), a coal unit of Thailand-based Lanna Group is upbeat to meet its target of 2.5 million tons in 2012, an increased output from last year?s 2.2 million tons.

An industrial source told Petromindo.com that as of August, LHI produced 2 million tons.

LHI, located in Muara badak, Anggana in Kutai Kartanegara produced coal with CV 5,000 kkal/kg (GAR), CV 4,700 kcal/kg (GAR) and CV 3,800 kkcal/kg (GAR).

LHI exported its coal to China and India and international traders including Glencore dan Noble.
