House of Representatives lawmakers from the energy commission lashed out at chairman of the upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS R. Priyono for his absence from a hearing to discuss national oil lifting on Wednesday.
?Where is the BPMIGAS chief? Why does he skip a meeting to discuss national oil and gas lifting? Where does the boss when our lifting is declining?" Golkar Party lawmaker Dito Ganinduto said.
"We will summon the BPMIGAS chief ourselves. No matter is the meeting is held in the night or noon, we are ready," Bambang Wuryatmo of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) said.
"Why the BPMIGAS chairman preferred Thai investors to the House? For now sorry Pak Haposan does not need to be here," lawmaker Ismayatun also from PDIP said, referring to BPMIGAS deputy for planning Haposan Napitupulu. (godang)
