Leo Resources starts exploration at C. Sulawsei nickel prospects

IDX-listed nickel exploration firm Leo Resources Tbk is currently conducting exploration program at its central Sulawesi concessions with the aim of having an international standard indicate reserves estimate by June this year.

The company, through its subsidiary Lion Nickel, has tied up with concession owner PT. Lion Power Energy to conduct joint operation in South Lalemo Prospect and lamentoli Prospect, which are believed to host potential resource of 17 million tonnes and 4 million tonnes of nickel ore, respectively.

The company also reported that it, through other subsidiary Leo Resources will undertake exploration program in Lembo Prospect in Morowali, Central Sulawesi from February to April this year. (alex)
