Lestari Cipta Persada eyeing 4.5 million ton output

Lestari Cipta Persada is eyeing a combined coal production of 4.5 million tons this year from its subsidiaries PT Prolinco Cipta Nusantara (PCN) located in Sebamban and PT Astri Mining Resources in Batulicin, South Kalimantan

Marketing Director, Andi Ananda Manggabarani, told Petromindo.com that Astri Mining is targeted to produce about 120,000 tons per month or about 1.4 million ton yearly. While PCN is targeted to produce about 3.2 million ton production this year.

He said that coal from Astri Mining is mostly allocated for domestic market, while 70 percent of PCN?s coal is destined for export markets such as India, China and the Philippines.

He said so far the company has no new clients in export markets, meaning the coal is to be sold to existing customers under long term contracts. ?We are still focusing on the existing clients from these three countries,? he said
