Libya ready to supply crude oil to RI

?Libya is ready to supply oil to Indonesia,? Alwi Shihab, the President?s special envoy to Middle East, said in a press release sent to Bisnis Indonesia daily.
Alwi Shihab along with executives of Pertamina, PT Medco, PT Batasa and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited Libya from March 13-16 and expressed his optimism that Libya can supply oil to Indonesia.
The Indonesian delegation also met with Abdullah Albadri, president of Libya?s National oil Company.
During their meeting with Albadri, Indonesian delegation came to know that Libya has huge oil reserves and it was ready to supply oil to Indonesia.
Libya currently produces 1.7 million barrels per day while it consumes only around 350.000 barrels per day.
Alwi Shihab also said that Pertamina is considering to buy oil from Libya continuously while Libya is ready to provide until one million barrels per month. (*)
