List of bidders for Indonesian oil and gas concessions (Correction)

Following is the list of companies who submitted bidding proposals for eight of 11 oil and gas blocks offered by the government early this year.

The list, which is contained in the press statement released by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Friday, is a bit different from the one previously announced by director general of oil and gas Iin Arifin Takhyan.

The companies are:

1. Total E&P Indonesie

2. Inpex

3. Petronas Carigali

4. Santos

5. Provident Energy Ind

6. PIDC (PetroVietnam Investment and Development Company)

7. KNOC (Korean National Oil Company)

8. Exindo Petroleum Tabuhan

9. Petroland Energy

10. PT Sele Raya

11. Medco Energi

12. Pearl Energy Ltd.

13. Energi Timur Jauh

The ministry said a total of 13 companies submitted their bidding proposals as of the deadline on Thursday, rather than 15 as previously stated by Iin. (Godang)
