LNG transfer to FSRU West Java set for completion by May 15

The government is targeting that the ship to ship LNG transfer from the vessel, which arrived from the Bontang plant earlier Friday, to the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Jakarta bay which also just arrived to be completed by May 15.
?Preparation is already underway. We target the ship to ship transfer to begin today. The whole process is targeted to be finalized by May 15, and the gas would flow in to PT PLN afterwards,? Evita H. Legowo, Director General of Oil and Gas at the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, told petromindo.com on Friday.
Gas from the FSRU, which is the first in Indonesia, will be delivered via pipeline to PT PLN's power plants in North Jakarta. ?Gas will flow in to PLN in stages. At earlier stages, it would be at the rate of 30 mmscfd, then 60, 140 and finally to reach 200 mmscfd,? she explained.
