LNG updates Donggi-Senoro LNG dispute

Thursday, October 30 2008 - 01:16 AM WIB

The following is an excerpt taken from Australian firm LNG Limited's quarterly report released on Thursday.

Banggai (Donggi-Senoro) LNG Project, Central Sulawesi

The Company has submitted a report to Indonesia?s anti-competition/anti-trust regulator, claiming a violation of Indonesia?s anti-competition laws.

The claim is primarily based on the fact that Mitsubishi Corporation was allowed to compete in a preferred LNG plant developer selection process having, prior to such process, executed a Confidentiality Agreement with the Company and undertaken detailed due diligence of the Company?s proposed LNG project.

Mitsubishi Corporation was selected as the preferred LNG plant developer by the gas suppliers and the Company, amongst other things, contends that Mitsubishi Corporation should have excluded itself from the selection process having received full technical, commercial and financial information relating to the Company?s proposed LNG project, including the Company?s development cost and project delivery schedule.

Due to the sensitivity of the ?report/claim? the Company is not in a position to disclose any further details. However, the Company will promptly advise shareholders of any material developments in relation to the ?report/claim?. (end of excerpt)
