The paper quoted legislator Rahmat Hidayat as saying that the team must included officials from the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Ministry of Communications, director general of excise and customs, and experts from the meteorology department.
Rahmat said that this was crucial in a bid to help secure the revenue of the local administration from the mining activity of the company.
Rahmat was speaking to the press during a visit made by the House commission D to the Benete Port in Sumbawa.
Rahmat, the deputy of the commission on mining, criticized the current system of supervision which was only made based on invitation from the company and only involved officials from the local office of the Ministry of Mines and Energy.
He said that supervision must be a continuous work, and it was a standard that officials from the customs and ministry of communications were involved. (*)
