LPC Energi plans wind power plant in Garut

Egeres Investment Pte Ltd, a Turkey-based investment company, through its subsidiary in Indonesia PT LPC Energi is planning to develop wind power plant in Garut Regency, West Java Province.
LPC Energi President Director, Duta Cipta Bawono told Petromindo.com on Tuesday that the company has conducted pre-feasibility studies in Sancang village, Cibalong district, Garut Regency.
"We have conducted research and pre-feasibility studies at the land of (state-owned plantation firm) PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII (PTPN) in Garut, and we plan to develop 50 MW of wind power plant," he said, adding that currently the company is continuing the research activity to collect further detailed data of wind measurement at the location of PTPN VIII.
"After getting more data we will conduct the feasibility studies followed by signing Memorandum of Understanding with PT PLN regarding this project," he said, adding that the total investment of this project is around Rp 500 billion. "Our holding company, Egeres Investments Pte Ltd will be the contractor (for the) development," he said.
