Luluk Sumiarso appointed as oil and gas director general

Secretary general of ministry of energy and mineral resources, Luluk Sumiarso, will be inaugurated as new oil and gas director general on Thursday to replace Iin Arifin Takhyan who has been appointed vice president of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, a lawmaker said Monday.

Luluk?s current position will be filled in by Wariono Karno, the current secretary of the directorate general of oil and gas, the head of the House of Representatives' Commission VII on mining, energy and the environment, Agusman Effendi, said. (godang)
