Luluk Sumiarso installed as new directorate general of renewable energy

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Darwin Saleh installed on Tuesday Luluk Sumiarso, currently one of his expert staff, as new director general of renewable energy and energy conservation.

The directorate general of renewable energy was a new agency at the ministry.

Meanwhile, Hadianto, previously secretary of the geology agency, was installed as a new expert staff for organization and strategic planning, replacing Luluk.

Following the creation of the new directorate general, the responsibility of the current directorate general of coal, mineral and geothermal will be reduced to only handle coal and mineral industries. The directorate general will be thus called ?directorate general of coal and mineral? and the supervision of geothermal industry will be handed over to the new directorate general, Witoro Soelarmo, secretary to the directorate general of coal, mineral and geothermal, said last month.
