Lundin Baronang B.V, a unit of Swedish independent oil, gas firm Lundin Petroleum AB, has yet to start drilling the Balqis-1 and Boni-1 exploration wells in the Baronang block, offshore Riau Islands, as the company is still waiting for the arrival of the required rig from Vietnam.

Head of Survey and Drilling Division at upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas, Arief Fanzuri told Petromindo.com Friday that the drilling of the two wells are now scheduled to start in December, a slight delay from the earlier schedule of mid November 2013.

Located in the Natuna Sea, the Baronang block is 100 percent owned by Lundin Baronang B.V.
