Lundin Petroleum plans six Indonesian exploration wells in 2007

Swedish oil company Lundin Petroleum AB said Thursday five exploration wells will be drilled on the Salawati Basin and Island production blocks in Papua and another well on the Blora exploration block onshore Central Java in 2007.

Both Salawati Basin and Island blocks are operated by PetroChina International. Lundin has 25.9 percent and 14.5 percent of working interest in the acreages respectively.

Lundin also said the Blora?s drilling program is targeting net unrisked reserve potential of 40 million barrels of oil equivalent.

Lundin is the operator of Blora PSC with a 43.3 percent of working interest. (Robert)
