Lundin?s Q1 Indonesian liquids production down

Swedish oil and gas exploration and production company Lundin Petroleum AB reported Tuesday its Indonesian net production and sales dropped to 205,417 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) and 158,955 BOE in the first quarter of 2004 compared to 215,820 BOE and 266,217 BOE in the same quarter last year.

In its quarterly report, Lundin said realized price for sales in Indonesia for the first quarter was US$28.74 per BOE or down from US$30.45 per BOE in the corresponding period of 2003.

Lundin?s liquids productions come from its participating interest in Salawati Basin production sharing contract (25.9 percent) and Salawati Island join operating body (14.4 percent), which are located in Papua Province. Both blocks are operated by PetroChina. (robert)
