Lundin to drill four Indonesian exploration wells in 2003

Swedish independent oil company Lundin Petroleum announced on Wednesday it will drill four exploration wells in its Indonesian exploration concessions in 2003 as part of its US$ 25 million worldwide exploration campaign.
The company also said next year would focus on development drillings in several countries, including Indonesia.
The company, however, provided no detail. The company website said it planned to drill two to three exploration wells in Blora next year.
Lundin is the operator of Blora and Banyumas exploration blocks onshore Java with 40 percent and 50 percent working interest, respectively. The company is operator and 100 percent interest holder of Sareba exploration block on and offshore Papua.
Lundin is also non-operating partner of lematang block in South Sumatra and Salawati blocks in Papua. (alex)
