Swedish oil gas firm Lundin Petroleum through its subsidiary Lundin Gurita BV, is planning to farm out its interest in the Gurita PSC in Natuna Sea.
Lundin?s Exploration Manager Batara Simanjuntak told Petromindo.com that the percentage of interest it planned to farm out is up to 40 percent.
?Basically, we still want the majority of the block and hold the operatorship,? he said.
He added that the company expects to spud the Gobi-1 well within the block in late September of this year using the Hakuryu 11 rig.
Lundin operates Gurita PSC with 90 percent interest, with the balance held by Australian firm Nido Petroleum Ltd.
