M3nergy finds oil indication in Ujung Kulon

Malaysian firm M3nergy Berhad found oil and gas indication at Cula-1 well in Ujung Kulon block in Banten but the firm has yet to carry out well test, a source told Petromindo.com.
The firm does not carry out test because well test is included in the program, the source said.
Since there is an indication of oil and gas, the firm plans to drill another well around December 2016 or March 2017, according to the source.
The Ujung Kulon PSC covers an area of approximately 3,706 sq km both onshore and offshore in the southern part of Banten province. The 30-year PSC was signed on March 22, 2007 and was awarded to M3nergy. The firm has a 100 percent interest in the block.
