M3Nergy plans to spud one well in Ujung Kulon block this month

Malaysian firm M3nergy Berhad plans to spud Cula # 1 exploration well in Ujung Kulon block in West Java at the end of this month.
Dwi Nurcahyanto, Head of Survey Realization and Exploration Drilling Division at upstream authority SKK Migas told Petromindo.com that the drilling will be completed in one month.
Industry sources said the drilling will be carried out using the Soehanah jackup rig owned by IDX-listed PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk. The rig will be deployed from Eastkal Supply Base owned by PT Pelabuhan Penajam Banua Taka in East Kalimantan to Ujung Kulon. The rig has been at the Eastkal Supply Base port since September of this for maintenance and repair.
M3nergy has 100 percent interest in the block, which was awarded in 2007.
