M3nergy to start Indonesia drilling campaign by year-end

Malaysian firm M3nergy plans to start drilling campaign at its Ujung Kulon PSC offshore Banten in the fourth quarter of this year using a Jack-Up rig.
According to the company?s website it will drill two wells that will intersect seven of the prospects which are stacked in two locations.
The latest mean estimate at ultimate recoverables is 47 MMstb for Ujung Kulon, 70 MMstb from the Cula oil target and 167 MMstb from SE Cipatulah. The Cula prospect also has separate gas structures with a mean estimate of ultimate recoverables of 869 Bscf.
According to the company, previous operators for areas within the PSC have drilled two wells which had good hydrocarbon shows, proving the existence of a working kitchen.
M3nergy has 100 percent interest in the block, which was awarded in 2007.
