Mabar Elektrindo opens coal supply tender

PT Mabar Elektrindo unveiled Tuesday a five-year coal supply tender for its 2x150 MW coal-fired power plant in Medan, North Sumatra.
The company said in a tender announcement that it was seeking for the supply of 1.2 million tons of coal per year.
Interested bidders can obtain the PQ tender documents on February 10-16 at the company?s office with the following address.

In addition to have the necessary administrative requirements, qualified bidders, individually or in a consortium, must have mineable coal reserves of at least 6 million tons.
The company said it was seeking for coal with the following qualities.
Gross caloric value (gar): 4.400-5.000kal/kg,
Total moisture (% ar) : Max 39%
Total sulfur (% ar) : Max 0.8%
And ash content (% ar) : Max 7.0%
