Maduchon receives LoI to build 300 MW mine-mouth power plant project

A consortium led by Madhucon Projects Limited has received a Letter of Intent to build a mine mouth coal fired power plant of 2x150MW capacity in South Sumatra. The power plant will be situated very close to the existing coal mine of PT Madhucon Indonesia at Dawas site.
A separate special purpose vehicle shall be formed with Madhucon Projects Limited holding 65% stake and the remaining 35% stake shall be held by Madhucon?s Group Companies. The SPV shall be entering into a Power Purchase Agreement with PT.PLN for 25 years. (romel)
