MAE unit to build power station for Indonesian firm

MAE unit to build power station for Indonesian firm for Malaysian AE Models Holdings Bhd's (MAE) 59.45%-owned subsidiary PT AE Automotion Indonesia has won a US$8.1 million (RM28.35 million) contract from PT Kaltim Supacoal to design and build an 8 MW nett coal-fired power station in Kalimantan.

MAE told Bursa Malaysia on Jan 24 works on the project had commenced and expected to be completed by end of May 2008.

PT AE Automotion is involved in the fabrication, manufacturing and marketing of materials handling systems and accessories, while PT Kaltim Supacoal exports upgraded coal to power utilities in the Asia-Pacific.(*)
